So if you've never been up to Timber Ridge, you should drive up there in the summer to check it out. It's really a rad complex sitting right on top of a hill above Canyon Lodge so you can actually ski down to the lodge with some great views. But, and this is a big but, in the winter it is rough: tons of snow, super steep driveway. It's pretty sketchy when it gets icy. Once you're in, you're set but getting in and out can be a pain. I'm actually a little bit shocked and impressed they put a complex up there.
Looking at the pictures, it is a beautiful condo with great views. I like the white contrasting with the light wood but still it's over a million bucks and that seems high. It's really interesting because the market in Mammoth seems to be softening a lot, especially with condos. In the last day or two we've seen a few condos come on the market that seem 20-25% too high. I'm not sure if it's the realtor swinging for the fences? or if the owner just has it in their head that their property is worth this much. This seems way more reasonable, about 850K. Even that seems high for Timber Ridge in this market. but what do I know? Maybe people are willing to pay that for ski in/ski out.
